The Delivery Runner is responsible for delivering orders to our customers by foot in certain areas of New York. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages.Responsibilities:* Delivering orders to our customers by foot in certain areas of New York* Provide professional customer serviceEducation and Qualifications:* Ability to clearly communicate and read in English* Must be willing to work in any weather condition (heat, rain, snow,ect.)* Must be able to work both Sunday and Monday* Must be able to work a flexible shift (mornings and/or evenings)* Ability to complete all basic and recurring training* Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs with appropriate equipment* Prior customer service and delivery experience desired* Comfort /familiarity with basic smartphone operations* Ability to utilize smartphones for two-way communication with our Operations Team* Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture* Ability to prioritize and make decisions independently* Ability to navigate a route successfully & independently* Knowledge of scanning is preferred* Knowledge of NYC Streets preferred* Must embody and demonstrate company values and cultureNote: The salary/hourly range for this role is from $16.25 to $16.25 Specific pricing for the role may vary based on many factors including but not limited to candidate experience, and skills.Who is FreshDirect:In 2023, FreshDirect officially become a part of the Getir family!
