Position Summary:
Our Summer Internship is a paid 10-week program for interns to gain hands-on sales experience. As a Benco Sales Intern, you will drive sales of merchandise, equipment, technology, and Benco services; solicit new business through personal efforts and referrals; maximize the customer experience; enhance selling skills in product and services focus areas; develop healthy/productive working relationships with customers, vendors and Benco teammates.
Sales Interns are assigned a specific region for the duration of the program and are responsible for growing sales by partnering with our sales teams. Interns will also work with our home office staff and travel to Benco locations for training and cross-departmental opportunities. Sales Internship responsibilities and goals include learning about Benco's offerings and how to present to customers and non-customers. Our goal is that our interns will learn the business and be provided a basic training that will help jump start their success as a sales representative post-graduation.
