Ecosort, A Waste Connections Company, is looking for a safety conscience Sort Line Laborerto join our Recycling Facility Team in Eugene, OR. Previous waste experience would be a hugeplus!

The starting pay will be $18.00/hour.

Schedule- Mon-Fri 6:00 am-2:30 pm

Drug and alcohol testing: Subject to pre-employment drug testing and random selection drug and alcohol testing per Company policy.

Responsibilities Include:

• Sorting out recycling material on the conveyor belt

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area

• Assuming custodial duties as needed, such as sweeping, and sanitizing.

• Other manual labor as needed such as cleaning up the yard and organization.

Requirements:

• Must be able to will work in a fast-paced environment

• Must be able to stand continually through entire 8 hour shift

• Must be able to work outdoors

• Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; work with a sense of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as occasional exposure to toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises

• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.

• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.
