Mission of the Role (What you will be doing)

The Customer Service Representative provides a consistent, high-quality customer experience and models exceptional service in all they do to create lasting partnerships by putting customers first. The CSR is the relationship and communication link between the customer, sales, and operations and proactively serves as a critical point of contact for order management, service, support, problem-solving and relevant project information for their internal and external customers.

The CSR is a highly valued team member that works with the sales team and acts as an advocate of SupplyOne values, services and capabilities to provide complete solutions and the full breadth of core product categories to meet and exceed sales growth targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and confirm orders or communicate needs on the day they are received; generate quotes and prepare proposals within 24-48 hours.
  • Answer phones by the 3rd ring and respond to emails by the end of each day.
  • Maintain and update price lists, build accurate specs and inventory, and facilitate new item setups.
  • Resolve customer issues, monitor inventory levels, manage slow payments, assist with slow-moving inventory, and expedite materials as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison with sales, purchasing, design, manufacturing, and shipping; maintain thorough customer records.

Educational/Training Requirements/Experience (What your background should look like)

  • Minimum of High School diploma/GED
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • experience in customer service or inside sales preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated initiative in professional development and basic arithmetic skills, including gross profit calculations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and effective communication skills (written, verbal, and in-person).
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
