The Packaging Associate will play a critical role in the preparation, filling, packaging, and labeling of food-safe cannabis products, including oils, edibles, inhalation liquids, and topicals. In addition to managing packaging processes, this individual will ensure the maintenance and sanitation of production equipment in compliance with company protocols and industry regulations. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package cannabis oils, edibles, and other product formats for consumption.
- Operate and maintain packaging, labeling, and manufacturing equipment according to company SOPs.
- Sanitize production areas and equipment following safety standards.
- Accurately document all packaging-related data using tracking software.
- Assist in plant material preparation for extraction and ensure compliance with processing protocols.
- Support lab tasks, including winterization, filtering, and extraction.
- Monitor packaging supplies and inventory levels.
- Ensure adherence to all product security and tracking procedures.
- Participate in training new team members.
- Assist in other facility tasks, including manufacturing, harvesting, drying, and weighing as needed.
- Follow all company regulations and policies and maintain marijuana work credentials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior packaging and labeling experience preferred.
- Previous experience in the marijuana industry or licensed facilities strongly preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using standard office and computer equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and company regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass internal and external background check
