Position Summary:Charlotte's Coffee House is looking for a dedicated and versatile Caf Coordinator to oversee daily operations at our Downtown and Uptown locations. In this full-time role, you will manage kitchen and caf activities, ensuring smooth service and exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include preparing high-quality food and beverages, coordinating service between the kitchen and front of the house, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This position offers professional growth opportunities, flexible hours, and a team-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the caf and kitchen, ensuring smooth operations at both locations.
- Prepared and served high-quality food and beverages, followed recipes, and maintained safety protocols.
- Coordinate the flow of food and beverages between the kitchen and the front of the house, ensuring accuracy and quality in every order.
- Manage inventory, food orders, and proper supplies storage, ensuring all sanitation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the caf and kitchen areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any needs or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve service issues and maintain smooth operations.
- Handle cash transactions and assist with inventory tracking and stock replenishment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in caf or kitchen operations is preferred but not required.
- Friendly and approachable, with strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, particularly in food presentation and quality.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with both team members and customers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices is a plus.
