Overview

Attendance Clerk

Status: Part-Time

Pay: $17/hour

The Attendance Clerk works with the Site Coordinator and interacts with parents and Think Together staff to ensure that students are signed out of program in a safe, thorough and accurate manner. As the Attendance Clerk you will be based at local school site and work with the Site Coordinator to oversee the collection and management of attendance data supporting Think Together programs; including but not limited to, sign out times, parent signatures, organization of attendance data, and fidelity of attendance data. Also note that requirements may evolve and change according to business demands.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Secure parent signatures and time of checkout each day as parents arrive to sign out their child (integrity, timeliness, accuracy and completion).

* Ensures that each parent and/or guardian that arrives to check out a student is registered on the student registration form as a permitted adult to pick up child.

* Organizes own work daily, weekly and monthly to ensure key deadlines are met and to ensure work is completed on time and according to instructions.

* Records any needed documentation regarding student pick up as well as completing accurate Early Release Forms.

* Accurately tallies the number of present records and absences at the end of each day before turning in all attendance sheets and other documentation to the Site Coordinator.

* Meets strict requirements for attendance and punctuality.

* Maintains a neat and orderly desk and reception area at all times.

* Welcomes callers and visitors and provides a positive first impression of the organization.

* Maintains highest degree of confidentiality in student, staff and management matters.

* Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

* Some college preferred

* Knowledge of and experience with management of data

* Strong ability to identify areas of concern and escalate to appropriate levels

* Must pass Live Scan (fingerprinting), Background Check, and Tuberculosis Test

* Office experience preferred

* Bilingual in Spanish required
