As a Baker, you will play a key role in creating delicious baked goods that delight our customers and contribute to the success of Maple Ridge. - Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and desserts following established recipes and techniques
- Ensure the consistent quality and freshness of all baked goods
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate and plan daily production needs
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet production requirements
- Assist in developing and testing new recipes to expand our menu
- Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations in baking techniques and ingredients
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Baker in a similar role
- Knowledge of baking techniques, including mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking
- Familiarity with various types of flour, ingredients, and their properties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Food Handler's Certification
