We are looking for reliable, outgoing and professional individuals to become in-store product demonstrators representing De'Longhi's Premium Express Espresso Machine at Bloomingdales. In this role, you will increase sales and provide innovative solutions while discovering customers needs.? You will work with store personnel to maintain and build strong in-store relationships, provide training, and meet client expectations. This is a part-time seasonal opportunity working 11am-5pm Thursday-Sunday September 12th-October 27th.

$25.00 an hour

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Achieve KPIs and strive to consistently meet sales goals and program objectives
  • Convert product benefits to sales - fully understand the features and benefits of our clients products
  • Increase consumer sales through proactive engagement and demonstrations
  • Build lasting partnerships and relationships with store personnel
  • Engage, educate retail sales associates, and create excitement to increase the rate of recommendation
  • Gather, summarize, and report via our reporting tool daily on field and channel feedback and activities, as well as inform the team of competitive insights
  • Display a professional demeanor while representing our client and BDS Connected Solutions

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Background in consumer electronics and the retail environment preferred. Barista experience a plus!
  • Experience in sales, demos, and/or customer-facing experience at retail
  • ServSafe Certification. We are willing to reimburse for this if you dont already possess it
  • A passion for coffee preferred

  • Must be enthusiastic, initiative-taking, have an outgoing personality, and be comfortable in a competitive environment
  • Exemplary communications skills, both written & verbal
  • Strong sales negotiation skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
  • The ability to quickly learn new products and features
  • Self-starter with a strong commitment to driving results
  • Self-Motivation and the drive to start and complete in-store projects, training and sales.
  • Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays
  • Access to either an iPhone or Android smartphone for on-site reporting prior to leaving the store
  • Reliable transportation to transport event assets to and from the retail location is required
