Company: Echelon Supply and Service Position: Government Sales Representative Overview: Since 1977, Echelon Supply and Service has been a leading supplier of hoses and hose assemblies for commercial and military applications throughout the world. Echelon Supply and Service is currently seeking a professional, self-motivated individual to join our Liverpool, NY based Government Sales team. Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and evaluating Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) solicitations
- Obtaining supplier quotes and negotiating prices
- Submitting competitive, compliant, and responsive bids to secure contract awards
- Developing sources of supply
- Developing and maintaining positive vendor and customer relationships
- Achieving individual and departmental financial goals
Qualifications:
- Associates degrees and 2+ years sales experience preferred, or 4+ years demonstrated technical sales experience
- Ability to read drawings to determine key characteristics, specifications and notes
- Experience using the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite
