Now Hiring: Activity Assistant Activity Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents.
- Encourage resident participation in activities, ensuring programs are inclusive and cater to diverse interests and abilities.
- Set up and clean up activity spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Provide one-on-one attention to residents as needed to support their participation in activities.
- Assist with special events, outings, and holiday celebrations.
- Document resident participation and provide feedback to the Activities Director on resident engagement and enjoyment.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure activities are coordinated with residents' care plans.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental well-being during activities.
Qualifications Activity Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CNA license or certification preferred.
- Previous experience working in a nursing home or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative and energetic personality with a passion for working with seniors.
- All applicants must be able to pass a Level 2 background check
