Overview: We are seeking an energetic, personable, and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. This role requires a dynamic individual who can create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, manage reservations, and ensure smooth operations during game day events. If you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a lively environment, and have a knack for multitasking, we'd love to meet you! Requirements Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Reception and Seating:
    • Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
    • Manage seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and accommodate reservations.
    • Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus, and introducing them to their server.
  • Reservations and Waitlist Management:
    • Handle reservations via phone, online booking systems, and in-person.
    • Manage the waitlist, keeping guests informed about their wait times.
    • Communicate with the kitchen and serving staff to manage table availability.
  • Game Day Event Coordination:
    • Ensure the venue is set up and ready for game day events, including TV/audio setups and special seating arrangements.
    • Assist in organizing and promoting game day specials, events, or promotions.
    • Coordinate with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during high-traffic events.
    • Engage with guests to enhance their experience, answering questions and facilitating requests.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism.
    • Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.
  • Communication and Teamwork:
    • Communicate effectively with all team members, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
    • Collaborate with the management team to execute special events and promotions.
    • Support staff in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining and bar areas.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain an organized host station with necessary supplies.
    • Handle guest payments for reservations or special events when necessary.
    • Record and report any maintenance issues, guest feedback, or operational challenges to management.
