Job Description :

Develops a strategic manufacturing/capability plan to meet the market needs and organization's overall strategic goals and objectives

  • Develops and implements policies, plans and programs for the manufacturing function within the framework of overall company policies which supports the overall strategy of the company to provide mixing out of this plant; and corporate goals in safety, quality, cost, environmental, employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction.
  • Manages mixing activities for the reduction of costs, scrap and rework to maximize manufacturing profits in other plants. Motivates team to generate sales revenue and profits to meet or exceed budget expectations.
  • Ensures that ISO/TS 16949, ISO 140001, or equivalent standards, are met. Collaborates with Quality and Regulatory team to ensure SOP's are followed, corrective actions are implemented and repeated occurrences are resolved timely.
  • Partner with Human Resources to determine talent needs, improve employee engagement, performance management and overall alignment to the business unit's organizational structure. Participates in a variety of human resource management responsibilities including: Recruiting, selecting and training employees, evaluating work performance, recommending compensation adjustments, professional development planning and labor and employee relations.
  • Drives key metrics regarding quality and continuous improvement. Works with direct reports to communicate and update goals and/or metrics, illustrating objective evidence of improvement.
  • Provides monthly reports to communicate the financial, KPI and overall management performance. Utilizes effectively all appropriate control records and financial statements such as budgets, cost estimates, staffing and facilities forecasts, and labor analyses to manage operations, achieve optimal results and communicate appropriate information throughout the plant.
  • Oversees and directs the timely and economical purchasing and receipt of material, supplies and equipment.
  • Conducts quarterly communication meetings to review performance, production, project status and Initiatives.
  • Provides a safe and clean working environment for all employees. Ensures compliance with all safety/environmental rules and regulations and takes prompt corrective action concerning hazards and manages compliance with Internal Safety/Environmental Audits.
  • Manages and participates in various company and plant Continuous Improvement Programs to enhance the process and develop employees in continuous improvement.
  • Oversees the maintenance of facilities and equipment to assure safe and efficient performance and usability, and to provide clean, safe and attractive facilities conducive to maximum employee productivity, efficiency and morale.
