*_Position Summary_*:

Supports hospital information system server environment.

Reports to System Administrator IT&S.

Essential Functions ?

- Responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting the information system server environment.

- Responsible for the planning, implementing, and supporting of information system virtual environments.

- Responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting all information system backups.

- Responsible for coordinating and implementing scheduled server and client environment updates.

- Assists Support Specialist staff as needed.

- Rotating call schedule for off-hours support.

*Minimum Education*

A high school diploma or equivalent is Required

Bachelor's degree is Required

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux/Unix operating systems.

- Knowledge of VMWare and other virtualization environments.

- Experience with backup technologies.

- Knowledge of Cisco environments.

- Knowledge of network concepts.

- Knowledge of server and computer hardware concepts.
