Telecommunications Call Center Agent

Our client is a leader in the fiber and hosted voice services industry with over 15 years of history providing first-rate internet services. They are seeking a Call Center Agent to provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring customers receive seamless support for their Internet, TV, and phone services.

Focus:

  • Handle inbound customer calls, assist with service-related queries, and process payments.
  • Accurately log and update customer interactions in the system during each call.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of service offerings, pricing, and available equipment across the company's service area.
  • Assist customers in identifying and resolving equipment or service-related issues quickly.
  • Coordinate with field technicians and other team members to arrange on-site service appointments when necessary.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during customer interactions, whether via phone, email, or face-to-face.
  • Assist with requests for new services, changes to existing plans, and addressing concerns about service quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to cover various shifts, including occasional weekends.

Skill Set:

  • Familiarity with PCs, internet, Wi-Fi, and related technology.
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting common technical issues related to internet services.
  • Dependable and trustworthy with a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related role (1 year preferred, but not required).
