Summary Supervise and coordinate the activities related to production, keeping productivity at the highest levels, delegating responsibilities, electing priorities, meeting lead times and goals, and ensuring production shift alignment with the main strategy of Tigre USA Inc. It aims to ensure that the product or service that Tigre provides is fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements. He/she coordinates the activities required to meet quality standards. He/she also monitors and advises on the performance of the quality management system. He/she liaises with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure the QA system functions properly. He/she advises on changes and their implementation and provides training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve quality. Primary Responsibilities
- Organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations.
- Ensure effective management of production lines.
- Monitor material and labor resources as needed (including overtime)
- Optimize resource utilization by implementation of an effective production organization
- Ensure maintenance is cost effective and will help to achieve a higher standard of production
- Make decisions regarding production layout, range of services based on products to deliver, and design and arrange work processes
- Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem-solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis, depending on need
- Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations
- Ensure that products are produced on time and are of good quality
- Ensure complete compliance to prescribed QMS, GMP's and 5S processes
- Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedure
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
- Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs to ensure that product standard exceeds customer expectation
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
- Promotes quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization and helps to build the quality oriented culture
- Develops, implements, communicates and maintains a quality plan to bring the Company's Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Position Specifications and Requirements
- An associate degree in engineering, manufacturing operational management, or other related fields is preferred.
- 5+ years of on-the-job experience preferred
- Basic proficiency with MS Office applications, MS Word, and MS Excel.
