Certification Details ASCP registered PA Job Details Pathologist Assistant specialty at Virginia Mason Medical Center Contract is 13-week long ASCP, BLS is not required Department: LAB - Pathologist Assistant Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: PA Grossing of complex specimens (colon cancers, breast cancers, whipples, etc.) Surgical Pathology only No need to be a Generalist No Phlebotomy performance required LIS System: CoPath EMR/Specific Equipment used: Cerner Department Specific Orientation: Training provided on-site;10a-630p Job Requirements Requires an ASCP registered PA No contact with patients No MLT or MT certification needed Schedule Information Shift (1) 8:30am-5:00pm & (1) 10am-6:30pm No weekend requirements No holiday requirements No call or standby call requirement Unit Specific Information Unit: Surgical Pathology LIS System: CoPath EMR/Specific Equipment used: Cerner Additional Details Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able re-add that back in
