Summary of PositionLays out, fabricates, assembles, and repairs jigs, fixtures, forms, templates, and related tooling used in manufacturing aircraft parts and assemblies, following blueprints, sketches, and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.Essential FunctionsMaintain safe operations by adhering to safety regulationsOperate crane, forklift, and heaving machineryExamines blueprints and/or MBD models for templates, jigs, fixtures, or other bond tools to be builtUse of measuring equipment: micrometers, calipers, etc.Work with aluminum, steel, graphite materials, etc.Use of hand tools, power tools, and various shop equipmentDeburring and grinding of toolsTrack hours on all jobsAny additional duties assigned by managementRequired Skills, Education & ExperienceAny combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.
