We're looking for skilled CNC Machinists to join our growing team. Hours are first shift- 7:00AM-5:30PM Monday thru Thursday with overtime offered (not mandatory) on Fridays. Starting pay is $18+ based on experience. The benefits we offer are as follows: health, dental, and vision insurance; 401K retirement plan; and paid time off- vacation, sick, and bereavement.As a CNC Machinist you will be asked to interpret client blueprints and enter data into the CNC machine; set up the machine and monitor it as it operates; determine the fixtures, attachments and tools necessary to complete jobs; discuss project specifications with supervisors and colleagues to guarantee consistency between plans and products; inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation; perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning and tool replacement.Dresco is a Veteran Owned, Family Owned machining and fabrication business that is continually growing and expanding in Bay City. We would love to have you join our team!Requirements:Mechanically inclined and willingness to learnAt least one year of experience operating CNC machinesPrevious work in the manufacturing industryValues precision and enforces quality standardsAbility to communicate effectively and ask questions when neededAbility to read blueprintsComfortable maintaining machineryUtilize a variety of measuring tools such as calipers, tape measure, micrometer, etc.Familiarity with programming and interpreting CNC softwareMust be focused and pay attention to detailMust be able to lift-up to 50 poundsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities* *
