Bridgeton, Missouri 63044RESPONSIBILITIES:Load, unload, sort and move product and materials both manually and with equipmentCollaborate with department manager for expected deliveriesVerify incoming product and materials according to purchase order/invoiceEnsure product information is entered accurately into inventory tracking systemVerify correct picking of orders in accordance with location and descriptionsPhysically pull parts, ensuring the completion of the picking ticketTransport parts efficiently and safely to staging area for individual kit completionReport defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorPull appropriate shipping trays and conveyances to keep up with client demandMaximize client efficiency by removing packaging to prepare parts for shipping traysSort parts into individual trays and conveyances to complete kitsEnsure parts are placed securely in trays for shipmentOrganize kits in a manner to optimize shippingBe proactive by maintaining a clean work area that is free of hazardsTraining on forklifts in warehouseCross-train with Fulfillment, Receiving, Quality Control and Kitting to become efficient with all warehouse tasksOther tasks as assignedSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to work independently or on a team and to carry out assignments to completionComfortable working in a non climate controlled warehouseAbility to follow written and oral communicationAbility to handle high level of confidentiality regarding product informationAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to be adaptable, as new processes arise every dayHave excellent ATTENTION TO DETAILRegular and reliable attendanceEducation and Experience:High school diploma or GED equivalent required1+ year of previous warehouse experience preferred but not requiredPhysical RequirementsStanding/walking/bending for extended periods of timeCarrying/balancing/lifting/climbing laddersCapacity to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. intermittentlyComfortable working in non-climate-controlled warehouseThis position reports to the Department ManagerIf you're ready to take the next step in your warehouse career, apply today!
