Ferguson is now seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our team!Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:00pm to 8:30pmResponsibilities:Accurately updates information on computer to maintain inventory records.Represent the FEI organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed.Develops and recommends improvements to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.Examines invoices and shipping documents to ensure accordance with federal regulations.May recommend procedural changes to improve efficiency of operations.Ensure goods are verified against records of shipment.Accurately records received and shipped items according to established procedures.Responsible for inspection, identification, and delivery to stocking locations.Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse.Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures.Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming materialQualifications:0-2 years quality assurance experience preferred.Ability to lift items that weigh up to of 50lbs independentlyA background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required.At Ferguson, we care for each other.
