Job Title: Cost Control CoordinatorDivision/Department: Cost AccountingReports to: Accounting ManagerLocation: Corpus Christi, TexasSUMMARYThe Cost Control Coordinator will assist within the Cost Accounting department in administrative duties and processes and completing work assignments in cost-related reports, cost analysis, risk management and administration.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Data entry of statistical reports, equipment data and reports analysis.
  • Provide daily employee support for Cost Accounting department.
  • Email and backup of data into cost control system.
  • Create and maintain in an organized manner electronic & physical files and review them for accuracy.
  • Enter information and maintain cost data information analysis into spreadsheets.
  • Heavy data entry of equipment reports and cost accounting data.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum - bachelor's degree in business administration and/or equivalent of education and experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of risk management and cost control experience.
  • Five (5) or more years work experience in a related cost administration role.
  • Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented.
  • Fleet Management a plus.
  • Excellent Excel and Access knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task and work in high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Proactive and solution oriented.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion and professional courtesy.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a high degree of confidentiality.
