TEAM OVERVIEW KKR's Marketing team develops executive content strategies that generate brand and product awareness to engage the firm's clients with valuable content to meet quantifiable business goals. The team builds deep relationships with clients to bridge the gap between client interests and business goals, to create innovative content strategies. The team is also responsible for consistently investigating trends and best practices to make accurate and tailored recommendations to clients. The Marketing team closely collaborates with the sales, product strategy, and compliance teams. POSITION OVERVIEW The Marketing team is seeking a UI/UX Designer to enhance our client-facing sites and provide design support across our digital experiences. The successful candidate will help evolve and maintain a cohesive visual strategy across various UI elements and user journeys. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and collaborative. They will have a strong understanding of design principles, excellent visual design skills, and a passion for creating engaging, user-friendly designs. RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
  • Create visually appealing, user-friendly, and modern designs
  • Oversee the entire UI/UX design process, including user research, information architecture, prototyping, testing, and iteration
  • Contribute to product roadmaps to ensure design enhancements are aligned with clear vision
  • Collaborate with product managers, channel marketers and sales, and other key stakeholders to contribute to product roadmaps, understand user needs, and translate business objectives into compelling design solutions
  • Design with a global perspective, allowing for regional and local customization
  • Manage multiple project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of design projects while meeting deadlines and adhering to budgets without compromising quality
  • Develop, implement, and advocate for user-centered UI/UX design principles and best practices to ensure consistency and brand alignment across all product touchpoints
  • Execute designs from concept to delivery including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  • Gather and interpret user feedback and analytics through surveys, interviews, and usability testing, translating them into actionable design improvements
  • Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web design and user experience
  • Build consensus across diverse teams through user-centric solutions and effective communication
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by analyzing user data and A/B testing results to refine and optimize designs
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role with a portfolio demonstrating depth in product and user-centered design principles and methodologies (e.g., design thinking, agile development)
  • Proficiency in design software and wireframe tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
  • Experience in mobile design, with specific expertise in creating user-centered design solutions, creative strategy and/or design systems for externally facing products/platforms
  • Proven experience with iterative design and development process
  • Strong understanding of website accessibility requirements
  • Experience designing for global audiences
  • Exceptional project management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in addition to planning, prioritization, delegation, and tracking project progress
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

#LI-DNI This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance. Base Salary Range $185,000-$225,000 USD KKR is an equal opportunity employer.
