Job Description

This position will be responsible for researching health, disability and life insurance laws and regulations to comply with both Group and Individual insurance. Utilize insurance knowledge to provide product expertise to various business units within the company. The Sr Consultant will be responsible for preparation and submission of policy-related forms to applicable insurance departments, responding to objections and questions from the various insurance departments as related to the submissions. Upon approval, the analyst will oversee the implementation process of approved forms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, prepare and submit more complex filings.
  • Develop new policies and application forms for filing with all departments of insurance.
  • Communicate with departments of insurance and work across internal department lines to ensure compliance with approved policy forms.
  • Research and compile information for successful implementation of approved forms (Includes coordination with Underwriting, Marketing, Technology, Claims, etc.).
  • Prepare approved forms for implementation.
  • Research law and regulations to prepare responses to objections.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the team with broad process knowledge to suggest and influence change.
  • Partner with multiple internal business units to accurately test and implement the newly-approved policy forms.
  • Identify non-compliant processes and provide support and oversight to internal business units while the issue is rectified.
  • Provide oversight for implementation of policy print into company print systems.
Education
  • 4 year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
Experience
  • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This job does not have supervisory duties.
Education & Experience (in lieu)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $62,800.00 - 114,175.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
