Corebridge Financial Global Legal, Compliance, Regulatory and Government Affairs department is comprised of attorneys and other professionals providing high quality advisory and transactional support with integrity and objectivity across all parts of the organization. The team ensures an operating environment that minimizes legal, regulatory and reputational risks and complies with all laws and regulations and Corebridge Financial policies & procedures. About The Role
The Assistant General Counsel will handle a wide-array of legal issues and regulatory inquiries of Group Retirement's dually registered broker-dealer and registered investment adviser (the “Firm”). This role will require working closely with senior business and compliance professionals in addressing both day-to-day legal issues involving the Firm as well as supporting routine exams and for-cause matters with state/federal securities regulators and self-regulatory organizations (e.g., FINRA). Additional responsibilities will include rendering related legal advice and counsel to the Firm regarding the application of federal, state, and SEC and FINRA rules and regulations.

Benefit package includes
For positions based in New Jersey the base salary range is $200,000 – $260,000 and eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we're proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
For positions based in Woodland Hills, CA, the base salary range is $200,000 – $260,000 and eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we're proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
