Reference #: 4681915 THE POSITION The District 6-0 Engineering Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is on the lookout for a qualified candidate to take on the role of Real Estate Specialist! We are excited to welcome someone who is ready to contribute and grow alongside us.DESCRIPTION OF WORK In the role of a Real Estate Specialist, your role will be vital in ensuring land parcels are managed effectively, promoting their optimal use, and enhancing their value through informed strategic choices. Additionally, you will be responsible for acquiring right of way for highway projects in compliance with the eminent domain code. Your duties will also extend to supporting the enforcement of regulations and procedures related to highway beautification and junkyard management as required.Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Real Estate Technician (commonwealth title); or Two years of technical real estate experience and an associate degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.Special Requirements: All positions require the possession of an active Class C driver's license or equivalent.Other Requirements: You must meet thePA residency requirement.
