Big Rock Sports has an immediate need for a Credit Associate to work at our office in Morehead City, NC. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sets up new customer accounts by ensuring all necessary paperwork is in the file, gathers the necessary information to determine credit terms, sends welcome letters to new customers, and makes customer files.Updates customer accounts for higher or changed credit terms or limits as well as updates the customer's credit references for the credit manager to review.Corresponds with customers via mail, phone calls, and emailsResponds to inquiries and information requests from customers and sales force on a variety of topics, including requests for copies of invoices and statements from customers, assistance with new processes, and new account questions.Processes payments on accounts via ACH and credit card.Assists with collection calls and support.Runs monthly reports to identify expired retail certifications, works with an outside company to request the new retail certification, and follows through to make sure that it is valid or contacts the customer if it is not received.EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:Knowledge of Excel and Word are required. Excellent communication and analytical skills are necessary for this job function.
