The Robot Arm Operator is responsible for the operation of the automatic palletizer and wrap machine. This is a 2nd shift opportunity with a schedule of 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report any factors that may influence the quality and safety of the finished feed and ingredients to the immediate supervisor
- The safe, efficient functioning of the automatic palletizer and wrap machine - making any necessary adjustments to ensure quality stacking
- Inspect empty pallets to ensure they are of good quality
- Performing daily Metal Detect checks and weigh checks to ensure equipment is working properly
- Troubleshooting operational issues following all safety protocols
- The organization and cleanliness of the east alleyway of the East Warehouse
- Monitoring, organizing and recording of ripped bags, off weights and metal reject
- Checking weights and date codes on the products being packed
- Organizing rework and cooperating with the Shift Support Person in accessing rework
- Compacting of cardboard as time permits
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of feed manufacturing and willingness to learn and grow.
- Understanding of feed mill equipment and layout.
- Thorough understanding of cGMP's.
- Knowledge of HACCP Feed & Food Safety Plan.
- Knowledge of FSMA.
WAGE:
- Starting at $18.50 an hour
