Job SummaryThe clinical laboratory assistant primary responsibility is the cleaning, disinfection and set up of equipment. The Patient Care Tech Assistant also helps to maintain and track inventory.Required Qualifications** High school diploma with basic science course work or an equivalent combination of education is necessary.* Certification in basic cardiac life support is required upon hire.Background ScreeningMichigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
