Job Title: Assembly B (2nd Shift)Job Code:16421Job Location: USA-OH-Mason-InnovationSchedule: (9/80)Job Description:As a Manufacturing Assembly B (Intermediate Level) you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Sensors Division performing production tasks for a wide variety of Dewar assemblies which may include skilled hand work and or utilizing automated production equipment. Work is performed in a clean lab that sometimes requires optical magnification.Essential Functions:Complete assigned manufacturing process steps for DEWAR assemblies and sub-assemblies for customer deliverablesDetermines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing component preparation/installation, hand soldering as needed on assembly unitsComprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documentsUnderstand and follow appropriate test equipment / safety proceduresSupport group objectives for on-time deliveryFollow industry standard or practice for 6SWork independently and with a teamProvide regular status reports on work in progressQualifications:Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.2 years or more experience using email and Microsoft office.Able to work second shift2 years or more experience with hand tools.2 years or more experience with reading and following drawings and work instructions.2 years or more experience in working individually and in a diverse and team-oriented environment.Must be a United States Citizen.Preferred Additional Skills:Strong interpersonal relationship skillsSolder certificationEager to learn new processesExperience in an ESD/FOD and or clean room areasPhysical Requirements:Prolonged sitting at a workstation and working on a computerMust be able to lift to a minimum of 25 pounds at timesL3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
