Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.Role & ResponsibilityPerform any combination of tasks including picking, put away, packing (small pack and pallets), receiving, bulk picking, shipping (UPS and pallets), checking, and hose pickingRead production schedule, customer order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributedMove materials from receiving to storage areas by sorting/scanning material to proper storage areaFill requisitions, work orders, POs, or invoicesAssemble order from inventory and move to packing station for shippingProperly pack and mark container for shippingLoad materials onto vehicle or prepare for transportation pick upPerform general clean up and equipment maintenance of assigned area and equipment/toolsPerform inventory cycle countsPerform Basic Data EntryPerform additional duties assigned by company managementOther duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilitiesJob RequirementTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to become forklift certified
