AR/Collections Specialist LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a construction company in Phoenix. This organization is in search of a temporary AR/Collections Specialist to join their team. This role is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, fully in office. While this is just contract for now, it absolutely has potential to become permanent for the right individual. Is that person you? Position Overview: As a Collections/Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining positive relationships with our clients. Your role will be crucial in supporting the financial health and driving the success of operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports.
- Contact clients regarding outstanding invoices and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Process payments and ensure accurate posting to the accounting system.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of collections activities and client communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and issues.
- Assist with reporting and analysis of accounts receivable metrics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in collections or accounts receivable, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with accounting software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
