This role also works to verify inventory and maintain an organized layout and safe work environmentResponsibilities:Pulls individual parts, material, and steel per request of supervisor or AssociatesCompletes material handling functions as needed, e.g., bringing materials into the building, operating a fork truckOperates a overhead crane if neededReports any inventory shortfalls to direct supervisorCompletes daily pickup of area and remains responsible for cleanliness of work areaMaintains all equipment and toolsAdheres to all safety protocols including always wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Uses a barcode scanning system to clock in and out of jobsAssist other personnel as requestedRemains willing and able to cross-train and float into other positions of the Production Department as requestedThis position will CROSS -TRAIN in SHIPPING AND PAINT
