As our Assembler on the first shift you will be responsible for being proficient in the production of high quality cable assemblies. Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks easily and change accordingly due to necessary production requirements. Moderate production work related experience is preferred. This position will support a variety of market segments including Medical, Military, Industrial, and Data communications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Effective communications skills
  • One or more years in a Wire and Cable Assembly Manufacturing environment or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of proven results of quality and output in a manufacturing environment is recommended
  • IPC-620 and J-STD-001 certification is an added advantage

What will you be Accountable for?

  • Sets up and operates appropriate equipment, tools and fixtures to assemble connectors, labels, and associated parts to form a complete cable assembly in accordance with specifications
  • Works with Assembly Lead, QA, and Process Engineering to ensure product quality, by identifying and resolving assembly issues, as well as identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
  • Performs appropriate in process inspections and tests such as workmanship, dimensional, and interface gauging in accordance with product and process specifications
  • Maintains safe, clean working environment
  • Records and documents all assembly related inspection and test results
  • Performs all labor, parts and related transactions on time and accurately

How will you Collaborate?

Assemblers coordinate their efforts to ensure that tasks are completed in sequence and that the workflow is smooth which requires clear communication and mutual support. This position will also be responsible to collaborate with their peers and perform tasks as directed by the supervisor.
