Housekeeper - 3 fulltime, temporary, peakload (H-2B) jobs available 12/1/24-3/31/25.Employer: Hunter OpCo, LLC dba Hunter Lodge, 7433 Main Street, Hunter, NY 12442.Duties: Housekeepers who will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites. and indoor common areas at Hunter Lodge's property, which includes vacuuming floors, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, disinfecting bathrooms. and washing windows. Will operate or tend washing or dry-cleaning machines to wash or dry-clean industrial or household articles. such as cloth garments, blankets. draperies, and linens. Housekeepers will need to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and go up and down stairs. Will report directly to the General Manager at Hunter Lodge.Work days: may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 8:30am -3:30pm, or 9:00am -4:00pm. wage: $18.00 to $20.00per hour, paid weekly. Overtime is available at $27.00-$30.00 per hour. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours.A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $65.00 per week for a shared room with a full kitchen and access to laundry. The cost also includes one meal per day (breakfast). If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck.Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
