Job Description: We are seeking an Operations Assistant to support the Operations Manager in managing day-to-day activities across all aspects of the business. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the operations from the ground up, with the potential for career growth into an Operations Manager position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in cost estimation, project scheduling, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate with the team on purchasing materials and ensuring timely delivery.
• Help with logistics and managing the supply chain to meet project deadlines.
• Work with shop drawings and collaborate with the shop floor to ensure accuracy.
• Support in sourcing new suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
• Aid in job costing and managing budget requirements for multiple projects.
• Oversee day-to-day project activities and assist in troubleshooting issues.
• Maintain and update project management tools and systems.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in the steel fabrication industry.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and project blueprints a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the company, with the potential to grow into an Operations Manager role.
