- Greet all patients/visitors entering the hospital providing information and directions. Obtains wheelchair as needed for incoming patients, transports patients via wheelchair.
- Utilizes Patient Information screen on HIS to obtain location of patient/room assignment within the hospital.
- Utilizes FirstNet to obtain information that can be shared with patient/family members/visitors. Keeps patients/families informed of delays.
- Performs Quick Registration of patients to HIS. Communicates with charge/triage nurse to keep patients/families updated.
- Maintains an organized and clean service waiting area. Maintains an organized workstation.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum score of 80% on Customer Service Skills Assessment.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Previous customer service experience preferred
