PAY:$20.00 per hour
SCHEDULE:Shift time will vary: Must have open availability for Mornings, Afternoons, Overnights and weekends as schedule is subject to change based on needs.JOB TYPE: Varies
JOB DESCRIPTION:The Special Response Officer position requires complete open availability as you will be used on an as needed basis in Chesapeake, VA based on vacations, leave of absences, or call-offs.
- Shifts of 8 – 12 hours
- Able to accept last-minute assignments due to call-offs or No Call No Shows
- Must feel comfortable using different levels of technology; willingness to learn proprietary applications as needed
- Must be able to comprehend and recall post expectations for each location
- Ability to create accurate activity and incident reports as needed
- Ability to observe, survey, report and respond to critical situations while on any given property
- Ability to multi-task a must as some job sites are very busy while others are slower paced
- Ability to meet all physical demands of each site which may include long periods of sitting, standing and walking
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prioritize providing excellent customer service to our clients, their staff, and visitors.
- Observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
- Provide rapid response in critical situations.
- Read and write detailed reports in the third person.
- Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:- You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is preferred
- Ability to undergo and successfully complete an extensive pre-employment screening process.
- You have a state license if required.
