Title : HR CoordinatorReports to: Director of Human ResourcesFLSA Classification: Non-exemptWorker Category: Full-timeSalary Grade/Level/Family/Range:Location: Woodcliff Lake, NJSchedule: 8AM - 4:30PM, M-F, 3 - 4 days onsiteDate: August 8, 2024Job DescriptionSummary/objectiveTheHR Coordinator supports Hudson's Mission by directly aiding and facilitating various HR functions. The coordinator will oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain and update employee data in the HRIS, manage internship program, employee engagement committee and activities, distribution, and analysis of employee surveys, and support the implementation and administration of policies and other programs primarily including employee development, performance management, and payroll.Essential functions* Manage sill aspects of Onboarding and Offboarding including conducting exit surveys, coordinating with IT, updating systems appropriately, providing employees with appropriate documents as required by policy and law Respond to employee inquiries.* Acts as the face of Human Resources and ensures that employees receive best-in-class customer service. Exercises judgement in the resolution of first level employee issues.* Advance HR's influence on the advancement of Hudson's employees by proposing and executing innovative employee engagement, well-being, educational, and values related activities and bringing HR best practices and new trends ideas to the team.* Responsible for employee data changes in the HRIS. Ensures accuracy of HRIS entries. Creates and distributes reports as required to support HR initiatives.* Administer employee engagement committee activities and manages the delivery of events to ensure a successful experience for all employees.* Organize the internship program including recruitment and implementation, and execution of educational activities for interns.* Oversee the Employee Referral and Employee Recognition programs, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.* Acts as a liaison between HR and Payroll to ensure employees are paid correctly as a result of changes to their roles, payouts upon termination, and any other pay items as required.* Function as system administrators for the LMS, assigning courses, ensuring employee access, tracking training, and running reports.* Other tasks as needed, including HR Director's and Team's expense reports, compliance matters, labor law posters, employee relations, town hall presentations.Competencies* Initiative, desire to learn and grow, and willingness to take on new projects.* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and move projects forward independently. Skilled at advancing projects and identifying next steps and best practices.* Strong analytical, organizational, and time and project management skills.* Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.* Independent judgement and creative and critical thinking.* Sound and ethical decision making.* Agility and adaptability.Travel required.Limited travel required.Required education and experience.Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field required.2 - 4 min years previous HR experience required, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Knowledge of Human Resources systems, policies, and practices required.Knowledge of employment law, and Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.Preferred education and experienceHuman Resources Certification preferred.ADP HRIS system experience preferred.Prior experience working in a multi-location organization with remote workforce preferred.
