Be a safety champion within the team, lead and model safe behaviors and drive continued safety improvements. This position leads others and is also hands on in the fabrication process.Responsibilities:Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process and perform accurate layouts to steel membersInspects completed welds to determine structural soundnessLead a group of 3 or more fabricators and assist the Shop Manager as needed.RequirementsRequired Skills/AbilitiesManage time efficientlyAttention to detailEducation and Experience5 plus years' welding experience3 plus years' experience leading othersAWS D14.1 / AWS D1.1 certificationAmerican Equipment Holdings is an organization of leading overhead crane and hoist, industrial weighing, and below-the-hook service providers in the United States.
