DescriptionThe Strapper Operator is responsible for strapping every cabinet coming down the line (Wrapped or Boxed) and for following our Cabinet Wrap Final Quality Standards, for supporting the team in order to not stop the assembly line, PM and Housekeeping tasks.Essential Functions and Duties:
- Responsible for Strapping every cabinet coming down the line.
- Responsible for supporting the Team in order to not stop the assembly line.
- Responsible for following the Cabinet Wrap Final Quality Standards.
- Responsible for preventive maintenance action items performed daily at company standards.
- Responsible for leading by example in regards to attendance, PPE requirements, breaks, and to drive compliance in all areas.
- Additional duties as assigned by ASSEMBLY Supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to perform data entry tasks more
- Must be able to distinguish colors and finishes.
- Must be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency in completing assigned daily duties as needed.
- Must have a basic ability for reading and writing
Education and Experience:
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience in lieu of Education.
Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions:
- Factory environment, possibly including heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
