We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our facility services team.
Position Highlights:

Job Summary
* Provides for beautiful and pleasant surroundings in the yards; maintains beautiful and well-kept grounds to create a professional looking hospital/nursing home appearance.
* Helps wherever needed and paints when time permits.
* Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times.
* Supports the vision, mission, and philosophy statements of Avera Sacred Heart Hospital.
* Supports the hospital's goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals.
* Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
* Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
Education and/or Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* One to three months related experience and/or training. Knowledge in basic lawn care and painting preferred.
* 0-6 months of experience is required.
* 6 months-1 year of experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
* This position requires a valid driver's license, and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Work Schedule
* Varied shifts as needed, PRN
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
* $22.00 - $31.75
