The School of Sciences offers a bachelor's degree in Mathematics with concentrations in mathematics education and actuarial sciences. Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses during the fall and spring semester.
- Advise students and maintain records of student progress.
- Assist in all areas of program improvement, including participation in curriculum development, evaluation, and assessment.
- Actively participate in recruitment for the mathematics degree program.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum QualificationsCandidates must be passionate about teaching undergraduates. Candidates should have at least a master's degree in mathematics or related field with a minimum of 18 semester hours of graduate mathematics coursework. Qualifications include:
- Innovative pedagogical approaches to teaching undergraduates from diverse backgrounds
- Coursework and/or experience in mathematics or related field
- Effective oral and written communication skills
