Primarily teach lower-division Computer Science (CS) and/or lower-division Data Science (DATA) courses. Examples include courses on basic data science skills, web technology, introductory programming, etc.Teach other CS and/or DATA core courses as necessaryMaintain and update course curricula and teaching/learning materials for courses as new technologies become availableParticipate in on-going course and curriculum development activities in the department as a wholeAdvise students and maintain office hoursCarry out other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsMaster's or higher degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Technology, Data Science or a closely related discipline 2. Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English 3. Experience in teaching (or serving as a teaching assistant for) CS and/or DATA courses. 4. Experience with practical data science projects or data science research. 5. Proficient in Python or R as well as at least one other object-oriented programming languageDesirable QualificationsEvidence of high-quality undergraduate instruction (e.g. course evaluations) in CS and/or DATA coursesExperience with improving their teaching based on student/faculty feedbackData Science teaching experienceIndustry or research experience related to computer science or data sciencePrevious experience teaching, studying, or doing research in a small college/university settingTo Apply:Click on the Apply button on the top right corner of the screen to complete an application and attach required documents.
