What You'll Be Doing:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of operators, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee production lines and equipment, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance and ensure smooth operation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure product quality standards are consistently met, aligning with customer specifications and industry regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly address production challenges and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Scheduling: Manage staffing needs, shift schedules, and overtime to meet production deadlines and maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste throughout the production cycle.
  • Safety First: Promote a safety-first mindset, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and fostering a culture of safety on the production floor.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • BS in Engineering or an equivalent combination of machine troubleshooting skills or equivalent of 5+ years of leadership manufacturing experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing environment, preferably in packaging, printing, die cutting, flexible packaging, corrugated or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of production machinery and processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide and motivate your team.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • A focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
