The Department of Pathology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) seeks an outstanding candidate to join its internationally recognized team. The Department offers the opportunity to work at a highly ranked academic center with protected time to pursue research and other academic interests.Current positions available include faculty positions specialized in Breast Pathology, Cytopathology, Head& Neck Pathology, as well as several additional Surgical Pathology subspecialty areas. Pursue your clincial areas of interest with guaranteed, built-in protected time to participate in ground breaking, colaborative scholarship and academic projects with an internationally recognized and renowed team.Successful candidates will have an area of special expertise and interest and a desire to practice in a collegial, academic environment.

• The UCSF Clinical Cancer Genomics Lab runs targeted gene sequencing, microsatellite instability testing, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), and a 500+ gene next-generation sequencing panel for advanced diagnostic and prognostic molecular testing in patients with cancer
• The educational programs include fellowships in cytopathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary pathology, gynecologic pathology, neuropathology, and surgical pathology
• Diverse interdepartmental research opportunities— interface with the wealth of basic and translational research programs that are a hallmark of UCSF, including the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center
• Competitive compensation package including two incentive plans plus comprehensive benefits including multiple retirement offerings---tremendous pension program, 403B, and 457B, Relocation / Sign - on (Start) Bonus package of $150,000, a mortgage incentive program offering incredibly low interest rates, assistance with selling current home, plus faculty housing or temporary housing assistance.Base salary range for this position is $92,100-$360,000.
