Job Description :
Position Overview: Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking a hands-on President with strong financial acumen. The President will oversee and manage all aspects of PTAC's operations, working closely with senior staff and franchisees to drive profitability and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Management:
    • Lead, manage and direct PTAC to achieve maximum profitability.
    • Oversee and manage key senior leadership team members.
    • Engage in both managerial and hands-on tasks, such as writing correspondence, signing checks, managing the Precision Marketing Fund, and reviewing disciplinary action forms.
    • Interact daily with Senior Management, In-house Counsel, Marketing, HR and IT team on key decisions and strategies.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Partner with senior management at the Board/parent company to improve operational decisions and increase profitability.
    • Work closely with the Controller to generate monthly financial reports and review them before submission to the Board/parent company.
    • Oversee annual reporting, including budget preparation.
  • Franchisee Interaction:
    • Interact daily with franchisees on various topics and handle much of the correspondence.
    • Provide guidance and support to franchisees to ensure their success.
  • Human Resources:
    • Collaborate with HR on staff interactions and audits by outside government entities such as OSHA.
    • Provide guidance on HR-related matters and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Business Development:
    • Co-write proposals for contracts.
    • Work closely with the VP Development on strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.
Position Requirements:
  • MBA or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
  • Solid finance and accounting background.
  • Strong Franchisee leadership experience.
  • Ability to partner with senior management to improve operational decisions and increase profitability.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • 10+ years of experience in retail, preferably in automotive service.
  • Proven supervisory experience.
  • Ability to travel, approximately 25% of the time.
