Maintenance TechnicianLocation:Wixom, MI, 48393 Company:Moeller Aerospace is a manufacturing facility specializing in machined parts for the gas turbine aircraft engine and power generation industries. The headquarters, located in Wixom, Michigan, is seeking a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician for our first shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 or 4:30 PM). Job Description:This individual will maintain production and facilities by ensuring proper operation of machinery, electrical hardware, and mechanical equipment. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to solve practical problems. Also, must deal with a variety of changing situations while multitasking in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a team player with a focus on continuous improvement opportunities. Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems would be a definite asset.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains all CNC machinery to proper working condition, troubleshoots malfunctions, and repairs or replaces faulty components as required. Ensures operation of machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on CNC equipment. Controls downtime by informing manufacturing personnel of routine preventive maintenance techniques while monitoring compliance. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Qualifications: Strong CNC background experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance is a must. At least 3 years of related work experience in a similar capacity. Strong track record of hands-on maintenance experience. Proven ability to work independently and self-manage required. Requirements: Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen or possess a valid Green Card) and we will require proof of status prior to employment.
