The Groves Senior Living, an Assisted Living and Memory Care Community in Goodyear, Arizona, is seeking a dedicated Memory Care Coordinator to join our team.

Position Overview:

As the Memory Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Health & Wellness team to ensure that the care and services provided in our Memory Care neighborhood are exceptional and specialized for residents with dementia. You will help ensure that staffing and scheduling meet the community's needs, provide leadership to the care team, and work closely with department heads to support the holistic needs of residents.

This is a salaried, exempt leadership position. The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, and the person in this role will be on-call 24/7, rotating on-call responsibilities with others to cover scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Health & Wellness Director to ensure proper staffing and scheduling for Memory Care.
  • Support caregivers and medication assistants by ensuring they have the training and resources necessary to provide high-quality care.
  • Partner with other department managers to ensure life enrichment programming, care plans, dining, and housekeeping services are delivered to residents with excellence.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining resident care plans in partnership with the Health & Wellness Director.
  • Ensure all care provided complies with regulatory standards and is aligned with the personalized needs of our residents.
  • Act as a liaison for families, providing education, support, and regular updates regarding their loved one's care.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification
  • Current CPR & First Aid Certification
  • Current Arizona food handler permit
  • Current and valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Must be clear of tuberculosis, verified through either a two-step PPD, blood test, or physician clearance with chest X-ray, as required by Arizona regulations.
  • Experience working as a caregiver and medication assistant in a memory care community is required.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience within a healthcare or memory care setting is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
