PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Information Technology Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling IT projects from initiation to closure. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to ensure successful project execution. The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and cost to ensure successful implementation of all IT sponsored projects
  • Partner with Project Management office to lead all IT functions in enterprise projects
  • Coordinate and communicate day-to-day project deliverables and socialize status and blockers to stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure actions remain in synergy.
  • Lead a thorough project review, document lessons learned, and archive project documentation.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures and regulatory agency requirements including, but not limited to, training activities. Embrace and apply the purpose, impact and core values to all activities and responsibilities. Successfully implement the Sales and Service Success Model when interacting with internal and external members. Support the initiatives by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  • EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelors Degree or at least 4 years equivalent experience for each undergraduate year not completed; undergraduate degree cannot substitute for minimum number of years of experience. Information Systems or Computer Science
    • Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP)
    • Agile certification (preferred)

    Work Experience

    • Minimum 3 years IT Project management experience leading or co-leading teams, with a strong track record of managing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

    • Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong track record of managing IT specific projects (Technology refresh, New technology implementation, Cloud projects)
    • Demonstrate knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
    • Proficiency in developing reusable IT technology refresh project plans
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Adaptable and flexible in managing deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
    • Ability to adapt to changing project needs and manage multiple priorities.
